Providence Presbyterian Church
Presbyterian Church in America

The library at Providence Presbyterian Church provides books and audio-visual materials that entertain, educate, and promote spiritual growth for children, youth, and adults. The most popular of the library's holdings are the children's books on the lower shelves against the back wall. The shelves on the left side of the main room have a biography/autobiography section and an adult/young adult fiction section. The shelves on the wall facing the entrance door have books and other materials relevant to the WIC. Between the WIC section and biography section are books organized according to the Dewey decimal system. Bible commentaries, missions, Christian living, and family life are among the largest categories for these books. In the small anteroom may be found audio tapes, videotapes, and DVDs, which also entertain, educate, and promote spiritual growth.
The library is a self-service operation with a simple check out and return for books and audio visual materials. Several card files can help in locating books. Donations of books and audio visual materials to the library are welcome, subject to the approval of the Session.
